After signing up for
My Mobile Watchdog, parents will log onto the secure webpage and activate the
software on their child’s cellphone. Once the software is activated, parents
compile a list of their child’s contacts to authorise a master contacts list. |

When an unauthorised
person or stranger tries to
call, SMS, MMS, or Email your child, it is routed
through the My Mobile Watchdog data centre and parents are immediately notified
by SMS or Email. |

The activity log records all
communication on the child’s device, and
enables parents to print a report which can be used as incriminating evidence, either with a school headmaster or the South African Police Service. My Mobile Watchdog allows parents to customise different levels of monitoring, depending on the age of their child. |

My Mobile Watchdog has
an application blocking feature which allows parents to block any application,
allow any application or grant temporary access to applications, by way of a
protected password (Mxit, facebook). Parents now have the control to decide
when, and for how long, their children can have access to these applications.
