With the rapid advancement in technology, parental control for cellphones has been overlooked. As a result, children have access to material or people that they wouldn’t ordinarily associate with. Cyberbullying, Sexting, Online grooming, are the dangers that children and parents are faced with today. These dangers can have long term psychological effects if they are not dealt with.
My Mobile Watchdog is a monitoring tool that can actively deal with, and stop, these dangers before they escalate. My Mobile Watchdog enables parents to monitor communication from strangers or unapproved contacts. Parents can also print reports of any inappropriate communication and use it as incriminating evidence, which can be passed on to a school headmaster or the South African Police Service.
